Are you experiencing domestic abuse/violence or sexual abuse/violence? We are here to help. The Family Violence Center, Inc. is a women and children’s regional domestic violence shelter serving Springfield, Greene County and the southwest Missouri area.

The Family Violence Center, Inc. offers food, shelter, counseling, support groups, classes, legal/housing/employment advocacy, and temporary daycare to all of our residents. These services are offered free of charge. We also offer outreach case management services to individuals who may not want full-time shelter, or individuals who have left our program but still need services.

Do you need help creating a safety plan? Would you like to know more about our program? Please contact our hotline at 417-864-7233 or 1-800-831-6863. Caring advocates are here to serve you, 24-hours a day.

The Family Violence Center, Inc. served over 36,000 meals to its residents last year alone. To make a monetary, food, or dry goods donation, please contact us at 417-837-7700. You can also make your donation by credit card. Below is a list of our current needs. Thank you for your generosity.
